Biography(english)

„It has a noisy, energetic, post punk sound to it, that is perfect for demolishing your garage or slinging your ex's clothes into the street while the neighbours watch!” (Reflections of Darkness, 01-2010)

"Only few have ever and will ever be able to sing as snotty and surreal at the same time." (Allschools, 01-2010)

"It`s impressive how this trio comes across with their mixture of Grunge, Punk Rock and Rock`n`Roll. The songs crack your eardrums in their furious, uncomprising and yet extreme forceful manner." (Bizarre Radio, 12-2009)

Pandora's Bliss don't just play concerts. Opening that sinful box with their first guitar stroke they offer you real catharsis - energy, emotion, liberation. Be it in New York, London, Tokyo, Brussels, Berlin, or any other of the 280 stunning shows that they played around the globe this female-fronted powerhouse stands for explosive-creative alternative street rock while fighting outfashioned dogmas and out of time conventions in music and society. As evidence they shoot ahead with their brand new album "Amarchord", which was recorded by American sound master Jason Rubal, known for his collaborations with The Cure, Nine Inch Nails and Dresden Dolls.

In the years on the road they played major european festivals such as Festivalkult and OMI Open (GER) or Musikmarathon, and Ward`in Rock (BEL) and were toursupport for U.S. Bombs, Pat Smear's „The Germs“, Die Happy, Therapy? and K´s Choice.

In 2009 their debut album "Melancholic Freedom" hit the stores worldwide and the first singles "Breed my dye" went up 2nd on German Alternative Charts and 3rd on Belgiums national radio station BRF and rotated on MTV Belgium as well as being featured on Marshall Germany's Homepage.

In June 2011 their 3rd music video "Bottle of wine", a roadmovie, produced in Los Angeles by Minimal Cinema was released which led the producers to choose their song "Rad Masturbation" to be part of the soundtrack of the documentary "Anton Perich - a breathless ride of a generation" that shows exclusive and unpublished material about The Factory the scene around Andy Warhol and the legendary Studio 54.

Shortly after Pandora's Bliss found their match in producer JASON RUBAL (Robert Smith, The Cure, Amanda Palmer) who produced their second Longplayer "Oh Glorious Serenity" in fall 2011 at Seventh Wave Studios in Harrisburg, USA. After post-production in Cologne in 2012, a two months tour followed that took them to Japan and the US in spring 2012. The first release of that longplayer "I'm burnt" hit radios germanwide and the accompanying video was shown on major US channels early 2013.

After another full Festival summer 2013 Pandora's Bliss went on their first UK Tour in October 2013 which was captured by a film team for a tour documentary.

Inspired by worldwide feedback the band decided to crowdfund the recordings for their upcoming album "Amarchord" with breathtaking results, so the production of the album started at Seventh Wave Studio with now long time producer Jason Rubal. This success allowed the band to spend one month isolated recording 12 rock and roll highlights without any "cut & paste", which underlined the raw live attitude and aesthetics of the trio once more and won't let anyone in the underground community be unaffected.
Right now the band is planning the release and the accompanying tour through Europe, US and Brazil in 2015.

Biographie(deutsch)

BOMBS, PAT SMEAR's Band THE GERMS, DIE HAPPY, THERAPY? und K's CHOICE in ganz Europa.
